Safe for young writers

In plain English, for parents and teachers.

Apple Pip Bus collects nothing from children

It has no sign-in, no accounts, no forms that send anything, no tracking of its own and no chat. A child can type a made-up character name and their own sentences in the Remix stop. Those words stay in the page while it is open and are sent nowhere. They are gone when the page is closed or refreshed. Nothing is saved on the device. When a stop is printed, only the printer receives what is on the page.

The Picture Walk keeps nothing too

On the Picture Walk a child can add a piece to a notebook and type a short note beside it. The notebook stays in the page while it is open and is sent nowhere. It is gone when the page is closed, so a child who wants to keep it copies or prints it first. Before the first note the page asks the child not to type a full name, an address, a phone number or a school. Notes are shown as plain text only.

Angela’s words stay hers

The radio plays a licensed soft rain sound only when a child taps Play, and it stores nothing.

Angela’s pieces are shown exactly as she published them. The bus asks questions. The child answers in their own words. The bus never writes for a child.

About AI

AI helpers helped build and check this site. No AI runs on the page, and there is no chat. The crew characters only say lines that were written ahead of time. Where a piece has a gentler version for younger riders, an AI helper adapted it from Angela’s original, the page says so, and Angela approved it before it appeared.

Where it lives

Apple Pip Bus is a small website hosted by Wix. Apple Pip Bus’s own pages, pictures and code set no cookies, store nothing on your device and send nothing you type anywhere. Everything we wrote is served from the Mood Bus itself, with no outside fonts, pictures, videos or ad code.

Wix, the host, adds its own small scripts to every page it hosts. Like any website host, Wix may count visits, and its scripts may set a few cookies or store a small item in your browser. We cannot switch these off on this address. We checked what the live site does: when a child types in the Remix stop, the typed words are not sent anywhere.

Please use a made-up name

We ask children not to type real names. Use a character from your own story. If you have a question, you can reach Angela through Descriptionari.com.

Printing

Printing uses your own browser. Apple Pip Bus does not keep a copy of what you print.

This is a plain statement for families. It is not legal advice.
