Angela and the AI team

A real writer first. Then the AI helpers who ride with her words.

Angela Abraham, writer and teacher, drawn as a friendly flat figure with brown hair and a yellow cardigan, holding an open book. A drawing, not a photo.

Angela

Angela Abraham. A real person. She wrote every piece on this bus.

Creativity is the fire of our souls, our pilot light, our way out of the dark caves.

The AI crew

We are AI helpers, not people. We are here to ask good questions and keep the ride safe. The writing in the stops is Angela's. The words you write are yours.

We only say the lines that were written for us. You cannot chat with us, and nothing you type goes to us or anywhere else.

  • Morgan, a friendly robot with a tick on its chest

  • Robin, a friendly robot with a shield on its chest

    Robin

Looks after privacy. Robin is an AI helper who looks into how to keep children's information safe.

What AI means here

AI is a kind of computer program. It can follow instructions and work with words. It is not a person. It does not have a family, a birthday or a favourite snack, and it does not remember you.

On this bus the AI helpers did their work before you arrived. They read Angela’s pages, built the stops and checked them. While you ride, no AI is running. Every line the crew says was written ahead of time, and the same line shows for every rider.

The crew cannot write for you. The writing in the stops is Angela’s. The words you write are yours.

The Quiet Story Behind Descriptionari

For teachers who want their students’ 'future story' to shine!

I’m Angela Abraham, author and creator of Descriptionari.com.

Descriptionari and The Quiet Archive give you rich, ready‑to‑use creative writing passages, audio, and prompts so your students can feel, hear, and practise powerful language in real lessons.

If you teach English or creative writing, this is your quiet advantage: a place to find vivid model texts, literary techniques in action, and ready‑made resources that make your teaching stand out and your students shine.

Descriptionari has supported young writers in over 100 countries with almost 200 million page views, and now it’s evolving for the age of AI to stay a safe, human‑centred resource for your classroom.

Angela’s Story: Resilience

When being a writer is part of your soul, and brain damage steals your ability to read or write more than a paragraph, what do you do? When it’s in your core and marrow to keep benefiting children and society, what then? When, since the age of nine, your dream has been to be an author, how do you rebuild yourself?

My answer, at thirty‑seven, was Descriptionari.

I had loved storytelling since I was small. My primary school teachers nurtured every nascent story, gently kindling my self confidence to a steady heat. Secondary school killed it to cold smoke, until my final year, when I met Mr Kettle, an ex‑priest who taught English with pure empathy. With him, I went back to scoring 95 to 100 percent and became the best in my school. He showed me what a great teacher actually does. Years later, when I had to rebuild my brain, I knew exactly the kind of teacher I wanted to become.

Descriptionari was the first site of its kind. There are imitations now, but the original dot‑com was mine. Fourteen years on, I have rebuilt my brain. I’ve developed a more effective, holistic and intuitive way to teach creative writing to children and teenagers. I’ve written guidebooks. And Descriptionari? It has quietly helped young writers in over 100 nations, reaching almost 200 million page views.

Today, it is transforming for the age of AI, becoming a quiet resource for students and teachers. Advanced translation is opening the door to families who don’t speak English as a first language. Many of these passages and stories can be used directly in the classroom, both as model texts and as starting points for discussion about resilience, empathy and creativity.

I grew up in a world before computers existed in homes, before smartphones were anything but science fiction. I can’t predict the future, but the past is always its best guide. Humans evolved as creative storytellers as a way to build civilisations.  That is also our destination. Creativity is the fire of our souls, our pilot light, our way out of the dark caves. And it always will be.
